Who Am I?

I am a gothic writer and poet who delights in exploring the shadows—both literal and metaphorical. When not chasing elusive leads through swampy back roads or unraveling cryptic symbols, I immerse myself in dark music, horror and crime movies, and embraces life as a devoted dog mom.

I am of mixed ancestry - Yesa (Saponi) and German, and an enrolled member of the Saponi-Catawba Nation of the Ohio Valley. Some of my poems and stories tend to lean on the spiritual side (pagan/heathen, indigenous spirituality). Some are about the darker aspects of life in general. Hopefully, I’ll continue to keep a healthy mix of both.
