I have recurrent plantar fasciitis and tendonitis. Right now, I’m dealing with plantar fasciitis in both feet and achilles tendonitis in my left foot. I’m under the impression that my dystonia is what’s triggering it, seeing that it affects my leg and feet as well, but I’m not 100% sure. Next Tuesday I see the podiatrist, so hopefully we’ll be able to figure things out.
It doesn’t help that last Wednesday I helped my sister put out our couches and when I was pushing it, I stretched my right foot too far. I’ve been in excrutiating pain ever since. I’m not sure if I tore my fascia or not, but to be on the safe side, I’ve been wearing an aircast boot off and on to give myself some relief.
Last night was rough. My dystonia decided it would be a good time to send a wave of cramps down my legs, which ended up causing more foot pain. Fortunately, none of this is stopping me from moving along with the writing and editing.
The Hourglass Collection
The third book in the five book dark poetry collection is finished. I wrote the last 11 poems yesterday. The book will be released in October. Next week I’ll start editing and formatting the book.
Xander Walsh Series
I’m about 80% finished with editing book two of the crime thriller novella series. I have two more days scheduled this week for editing and I’m hoping to finish this round by the end of next week. Next month I’ll be starting the copyedits for the book.
I’m still in the process of writing book three and have four more writing days scheduled for this month. I’ll begin the second draft next month and also start working through the first draft of book four.
The first book in the Xander Walsh crime thriller novella series, Penance, is currently available for pre-order. The book will be released on August 18, 2025. If you’re interested in being an ARC reader, you can sign up through the official application or over on Booksprout.
On Repeat
For those of you who haven’t heard, Ozzy Osbourne has transitioned. One of the songs I used to jam to growing up was Close My Eyes Forever, which he did with Lita Ford.
That’s all for this week, ya’ll. Everyone stay safe.
