This month is flying by, ya’ll. I can honestly say I had a productive year. In January, I released Woven Tales: Selected Poems. It was supposed to be released in 2023, but I had to push the release date a little further out and I’m glad I did.
What else did I release this year?
The Devil’s Grave - April 2024
Conjure Volume 1 - August 2024
The Red Hour - September 2024
As for the writing side of my life, I wrote 3.5 poetry books, 16 stories (flash fiction and shorts), and numerous drabble (I’m too tired to count how many). For longer fiction, I managed to finish the the first two drafts of the first two books of two separate crime/thriller series.
What’s Happening In 2025?
Divine Madness: A Dark Poetry Collection will be released January 20, 2025. It’s currently available for pre-order.
This Saturday I start editing the flash fiction and short stories for the second book in The Devil’s Reign series. I’m pushing for an April 2025 release date. I’ll have more information on the book and the official date next month. I’ll also start writing the stories for the third and final book in the series around July.
Next year, I’m pushing for the release of the first two books in one of my crime/thriller series. In January, I’ll be working on the third draft of the first two books. In February, I plan on writing the first draft of the third book. I’ll start writing book four in March. I don’t have an official date for book one as of right now, but am hoping for a July release.
I’m also pushing through the second book in The Hourglass Collection. The first book in the collection, The Red Hour, was released in September. I wrote 12 new poems for the second book Sunday leaving me with 32 more to go. I plan on working through the rest of the poems this week and also getting the bulk of the poems for book three done by the end of the month. I’m hoping to release the second and third book in the five book collection next year as well.
The Smashwords End of Year Sale ends January 1, 2025. All of my books are available for 75% off.
The Shipping Station
As I stated last week, I have my own business where I do a combination of print-on-demand and handmade items, so there are some things I ship myself. I finally got my new shipping desk set up the way I like it.
The Holiday
This will be the last update from me until after Christmas so everyone have a wonderful and safe holiday.
On Repeat
I love me some Adam Lambert so I’m sharing him with ya’ll. Sex On Fire and it’s live.
Alright ya’ll, I’m calling it quits for now. I have poetry to write and a dog who wants fed.
