It’s almost Halloween. Every year, my sister and I get together and spend three days watching horror movies. The marathon starts on the 29th (my sister’s birthday) and runs all the way through Halloween.
This isn’t anything new. We’ve been having these marathons since we were young. I guess you can say it’s a family tradition.
So, what are my plans for next week? I’m hoping to finish everything on my schedule this weekend. Normally, I write poetry during the marathon. I’m not sure why. My mind just starts spitting out poems. Maybe it’s because the veil is thin and the Ancestors are riled up. Who knows?
Will there be an update next week? It’s possible.
Crime/Thriller Series
I received feedback for book one of the novella series last week. She loved the story. There are a few slight changes I have to make for clarity purposes, but other than that, everything’s good. I’ll be working through the third draft in December.
Book two is moving along nicely. I’m currently 81% through the second draft and hoping to finish up this weekend. I’ve already contacted my beta reader about reading through it next month and she’s agreed.
I’ll be writing the first draft of books three and four next month for NaNoWriMo. I’m pushing for 30k each.
Forthcoming Poetry Book
I’ve finished going through the second proof copy. No changes are necessary, which makes me very happy. I’ll be getting everything ready for pre-order next month. The cover reveal will be November 13th on here and the 15th on socials. The book will be released in January.
On Repeat
On repeat this week is Odin (Live) by Faun and Einar Selvik of Wardruna. I hope you enjoy.
Alright ya’ll, that’s it for this week. Have a wonderful week.
