Only Lasted 3 Hours
New Computer
New Computer
I posted about my computer issues in the last post and unfortunately, it died again. It lasted three hours and then shut off. I did end up taking it to a local shop but after three days they were unable to figure out what the problem was, so I figured I’d get another computer instead of throwing money at something that can’t be fixed.
Fortunately, I backed everything up on two external hard drives, so none of my stories or poems were lost. There are a couple of software programs I was using that are subscription now and I’m not trying to go that route, so I’ll have to figure that out, but as of right now, everything’s working.
I spent most of the day yesterday downloading software, saving websites to my favorites list, and reconnecting everything. One of my printers is giving me a rough time so I’ll have to figure that out as well. Other than that, I’m hoping to get back to writing soon. It’s April, National Poetry Writing Month, so I’m hoping this weekend to write some poetry.
I’m still working on the garden. So far, we have radishes, lettuce, cabbage, kohlrabi, arugula, onions, peas, and turnips growing. I’ll be working on getting the beans and squash planted this month and in May I’ll work on the tomatoes, peppers, and pumpkins.
