Time Whispers Secrets
We once had icicle passion. Our hearts heard Winter’s voice breaking through the burning sun as it attempted to scorch our love. Then I gave into Summer’s rage. Welcomed its burning lust. My hands stoked another’s fire as your gaze stabbed my heart.
I desecrated forever’s promise. But your pain hindered forgiveness. I no longer recognized the eyes staring back at me. The reflection dancing on the wall as I stood in your shadow. Your anger provoked death’s gate to unlock. My temper flared.
I now realize that long after your last breath, your echo remained and time whispered secrets.

Rena’s Desk
I went on a writing frenzy yesterday, writing 31 poems. All of the poems are for the forthcoming poetry book. I’m not supposed to be working on that book right now, but for some reason I’ve been getting these spurts where I sit down and a lot of poems come out at once. I’m just going with the flow at this point.
Because of this last run, I’m 61% done with writing the book. I need 31 more poems to complete it. Maybe tomorrow? We’ll see. My plans for April were to work on the book, so if I finish this month, I’ll work on the second book in the collection.
The Devil’s Reign Series
The Devil’s Grave: A Collection of Short Crime & Horror Stories will be released April 19, 2024. It’s the first book in The Devil’s Reign Series. I’m currently writing the second book and am 71% done. I’ve been dipping and diving in and out of book three at well and it’s currently 10% done.
