Fast Week - Long Days
I've been busy
This week flew by. Amazingly enough, the days seemed longer than last week. Maybe I’ve just been extremely busy.
Having my own business, I do a combination of print-on-demand and handmade items, so there are some things I ship myself. I ordered a desk a few days ago so I could set up a shipping station. It arrived. I put it together and hopefully next week I’ll have some pictures to share. Right now, it’s a mess. I was hoping to get everything organized by this weekend, but it didn’t happen.
Last month, I put my yearly calendar together. It mainly consists of my writing schedule for 2025 and any releases. I still need to go through it one more time before adding it to my main paper planner (I use Google Calendar to plan everything).
The Short Story
I’m currently writing a short story that I’m hoping to get finished by the 15th. Last week, I stated that I’d like to get 15k words by that day. I’m currently at 10,827 and the first draft is just about complete. I think I have one more chapter to write and that will be it. There’s a strong possibility that 12k will finish the story. I’ll work through the second draft next year.
