Is it just me, or is Christmas coming fast? I’ve done a little gift shopping this month but not enough to make a dent. Every couple of days, I’ll search for something online and bookmark it to buy later (which will be next month). My sister, on the other hand, has been shopping like crazy.
Next week is Thanksgiving, so I’m trying to get as much work done as I can by Monday. After that, it’s pretty much going to be thawing and cooking. This year we’re having rabbit, deviled eggs, sweet potatoes, salmon, and cranberries.

Other Updates
I finished a short story I was working on. The story is one I plan on submitting for publication and is due by the end of the month. My sister read it and gave me her feedback, which I used to make some changes. I’m currently waiting for my beta reader to get back with me. One more round of edits will follow and then I’ll submit it.
My beta reader gave me her feedback this morning on the second book in the crime/thriller series I’m working on. Next month, I’ll start working on the third draft of the book one.
I’m hoping to get at least 80% done with the second book in the hourglass collection by the end of the month. I’m at 44% right now. Next month, I’ll be working on the third book in the collection.
It’s been a busy week, so I’m going to take a break from doing any writing and work on my other business. Everyone have a wonderful weekend and, depending on where you live, try to stay warm.
